Trying to resist feelings is like holding a beach ball underwater—exhausting, and it eventually pops up somewhere else, often stronger.
Letting something be here doesn't mean liking it, agreeing with it, or giving up. It means we stop adding extra struggle on top of what's already happening.
The long-term direction
Over time, we build more agency with our emotional experience—not fault, not blame—more choice and response-ability.
Instead of 'That email made me anxious,' it gradually becomes: 'I notice anxiety arising in my system. What's needed here?'
